FREE Cookery Demonstrations and Drinks Tastings at the Byre Theatre

Two afternoons of demonstrations from leading chefs, and several drinks tastings, are coming to the Byre Theatre at the weekend as part of the Savour St Andrews November events.

The chefs will be taking to the stage between 12 noon and 4pm on Saturday and Sunday (November 19 and 20) to show how they create some of their signature dishes.

They will also be providing top tips on how you can try some of their techniques at home.

Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink tasting sessions will be taking place between cookery demos.

On Saturday November 19th the demonstrating chefs will be Duncan McLachlan (Playfair’s Restaurant and Steakhouse), Ian MacDonald and Sharon Munro (St Andrews Links), Martin Hollis (Old Course Hotel Golf Resort and Spa), and Sean Wilkinson (The Byre).

The Sunday demonstrations will come from Tony Borthwick (Macdonald Rusacks Hotel), Geoffrey Smeddle (Peat Inn Restaurant with Rooms), David Kinnes and Nick Kock (Rufflets Country House Hotel) and Wullie Balfour (SRUC Elmwood Campus).

Over the two days drinks tastings will involve Eden Mill (brewery and distillery), Sacred Grounds (coffee), Kingsbarns Distillery, Luvians, the Byre Cafe Bar, and The Adamson.
