“Mocktails” from the Scottish Fruit Company


The Scottish Fruit Company, run by Danya Caceres, is taking part in the Savour St Andrews Chefs Taster Lunch at the Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort and Spa on Sunday November 6th.

The company picks, trades and forages in fields, ancient and modern orchards, gardens and wild places to discover Scotland’s natural fruit.

From medieval varieties of pears to the prickliest brambles and rosehips, Scottish fruit history is ripe with endeavour, surprise and taste, and this is reflected in the wonderful cordials produced by Danya.

The two “mocktails” being served at the taster lunch will be Autumn Plum cordial with a tea infusion, and a Rhubarb and Basil Smash, served over lots of ice.
