The Adamson’s Mat Majer at the St Andrew’s Day dinner
Head chef Mat Majer of award-winning The Adamson will be mentoring Fife College students as he produces the Petits Fours course at our St Andrew’s Day Dinner held in association with the Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort and Spa on the evening of November 29th.
He is joining an amazing line-up including Martin Hollis, executive chef at the Old Course Hotel; Geoffrey Smeddle of the Peat Inn; Jamie Scott of The Newport; Duncan McLachlan of Playfair’s Restaurant and Steakhouse and Sharon Munro of St Andrews Links Trust.
The chefs will be supported by students from Cupar’s SRUC Elmwood Campus and Fife College and, from profit made at the dinner, each college will receive a bursary to be used for further hospitality training.

Mat Majer – Mateusz joined the team at the multi-award winning two AA rosette restaurant from his role at BABA in Edinburgh where he was stationed since it opened at the Principal Charlotte Square Hotel. Mateusz is a highly motivated professional with passion for food and a focus on high standard of taste and quality. Mateusz’s leadership qualities have been gained in Michelin & AA Rosettes establishments throughout the UK.
